Transferring the Feast of All Saints’ to a Sunday offers a rich opportunity for including children in a liturgical procession. The procession could take place during the offertory as the congregation sings “I Sing a Song of the Saints of God” or as a final hymn. Children can carry banners created by youth or adults or children. These banners can be made the Sundays before All Saints Sunday. Learning of the rich breadth of Saints in our tradition offers the entire congregation the gift of a great cloud of witnesses.
